GKV has assembled a team of experienced entrepreneurs and executives who are dedicated to accelerating our GKV companies. The members of our team mentor and advise the entrepreneurs in the establishment of focused business strategies, execution tactics, and securing financing.

Gene Kirila, President and Founder of GKV - start-up #1 was Pyramid Fitness in 1984 and created a high growth profitable business before selling in 1993. Today, the trade name is Cybex. In 1993 Pyramid was one of four small businesses to have a site visit for the United States Department of Commerce's Malcom Baldrige Award. In 1990, Gene founded Pyramid Composites (start-up #2). In 1999, Genmar Corporation www.Genmar.com an $800 million boating conglomerate purchased Pyramid Composite's VECTM Operating Systems www.pyramidos.com.In 1994, Gene founded his third company called Efficient Machine Tool Sales, Inc. (EMT). EMT reached the number-13 slot on the "Fastest-Growing Companies" list published by Inc. Magazine in 1999 www.efficientmachine.com. Fortune Magazine awarded Gene the distinguished award of "Heroes in Manufacturing" which appeared in the March 20, 2000 edition. Gene's focus is GK Ventures (GKV) www.gkventures.com. Currently, Gene limits his roles to planning and business development.
